Our Journey & Vision
The Philippine Heroes Project is a nation-building endeavor of the University of the Philippines Cadet Alumni Organization. Started in 2021 by Tina Hernandez, the project is designed to provide better role models for today’s youth, so they don’t just look up to Tiktokers alone. These webcomics are designed to bring nonfiction, true-life stories of heroism to our youth, and will soon be supplemented by webtoons as well. We also endeavor to have our works translated from English into any language that will reach Filipino youth. We hope to inspire and inculcate proper values in elementary, middle school, and high school students, through the examples of the heroes we choose to highlight in our comics.
